MAINTAIN A 3 METRE SEPARATION CLEAR OF ALL OBSTRUCTIONS AROUND YOUR FIRE AT ALL TIMES
HAVE A 10 LITRE BUCKET OF WATER WITHIN YOUR REACH AT ALL TIMES
WHEN RETIRING FOR THE NIGHT OR LEAVING YOUR SITE – FULLY EXTINGUISH YOUR FIRE
CUT FIREWOOD TO FIT INSIDE THE FIRE DRUM – NO WOOD TO OVERHANG FIRE DRUM AT ANY TIME
NO WATER = NO FIRE
DO NOT
USE PRIVATELY OWNED FIRE PITS/DRUMS WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT FROM MANAGEMENT
USE WOOD WITH NAILS OR BOLTS IN IT
PLACE RUBBISH – GANS OR GLASS IN THE FIRE DRUM – USE THE SKIP BINS PROVIDED
ALTER – MOVE – OR MISUSE THE FIRE DRUMS – IF YOU WANT IT MOVED PLEASE COME TO THE OFFICE
YOU MOVE IT = YOU LOSE IT
TO MINIMISE THE IMPACT ON OUR ENVIRONMENT, REDUCE THE POTENTIAL FOR PERSONAL INJURY AND /OR EQUIPMENT LOSS, THE POLICY MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES.
THE ABOVE ALSO APPLIES TO THE POWERED SITES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PORTABLE FIRE DRUMS WITH LEGS, THESE MAY BE PLACED ON DIRT AREAS ONLY (TO AVOID NEW BURNT AREAS OF GRASS)
